PROJECT TEAM-UP UGANDA

Uganda is the country that receives the most refugees in all of Africa. Many children who have fled South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo are living in northern Uganda in search of a safe home. These children have often been through a lot and have been exposed to oppression, loss and fear. UNICEF offers these children child protection and psychosocial support. ๐Ÿ’ŒWhat can we achieve with donations?๐Ÿ’Œ ๐Ÿ’ธ4 euro is required to engage a child or an adult in awareness-raising on child protection to prevent to violence against children and ensure children, parents and community members know where and how to report concerns. ๐Ÿ’ธ16 euro can provide community-based psychosocial support to a child for a 1 year period through structured group-based interventions. ๐Ÿ’ธ55 euro can provide a child that has faced violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation with individual child protection case management/social welfare services, including referrals to other service providers like education, health, legal, psychosocial based on individual needs.
