The Mobile Health and nutrition teams "The mobile health and nutrition teams are serving communities in every settlement. The team comprises a doctor, a counselor, a midwife, a nutrition counselor and a vaccinator. On the ground, both within communities and in the camps, members of these teams are dedicated to saving children’s lives, as well as providing treatment and counseling to more than 50 visitors a day." What does UNICEF do to help? "UNICEF has been in Afghanistan for the past 65 years and will stay to provide aid wherever needed. UNICEF works with over 250 mobile health and nutrition teams, offering lifesaving support to children and their mothers in all regions of Afghanistan, even the most difficult to reach areas."
